Did you just sign up for a trip you've never been on before? If you want a little insider info, tips, or things to remember on different trips, check out some of the stuff below! If you have more specific questions about your trip, feel free to ask your leaders, or email the club account.

CAMPING AND HIKING TIPS

*Trust your leaders
*Good shoes are your friend!
*Break in your hiking boots before a hike
*Bring lots of water
*Bring extra layers,  just in case!
*Never wear cotton in a wet environment
*Always camp with a Buddy
*Fats and proteins are your friends on long trips!
*Check your batteries before the trip
*Bring toilet paper

Want to borrow of our gear for a personal adventure? We can help! AOC offers a variety of gear for student use.  Gear available for rent includes the following:

- Backpacks
- Sleeping Bags
- Sleeping Pads
- Tents (2/4/6 person)
- Canoes/Kayaks
- Life Jackets
- Cross Country Ski Kit (skis/boots/poles)
- Snow Shoes
- Water Filters
- Camp Stoves
- Helmets (climbing, biking, etc)
- Rain Coats/Pants
- Hatchets
- Rock Climbing Kit (shoes, belays)
- First Aid Kits
- Pots/Pans/Coolers
